It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jantje Hovius (Grimsby, Ontario), who passed away on April 10, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Bouke Hovius; her children, Marten of Kitchener, Sylvia Prins (George) of Kitchener, Garry Hovius (Rita) of Kitchener, Marike MacDonald (Wayne) of Kitchener and Boyd (Stephanie) of Kitchener; her grandchildren, Danielle, Gideon, Heidi, Maria, Wendy, Becky, Richard, Garry Jr., Jacob, Sarah, Melissa, David, Bob, Shannon, Jacqueline and Luke; and her siblings, Jake Arends, Ralph Arends and Frances VanderVeen.
