He was predeceased by: his wife Dianne (Adam); his parents, John White and Alice White; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his close friend Deanne Cressman; and his siblings-in-law, Doreen White (Lett) and Colin Adam (Joan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
