The memory of Diane Marie Dawson Amorim of Grimsby, Ontario, who passed away on September 6, 2024 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Fernando of Amorim; her parents, John Dawson and Marion Dawson; and her brother Mike Dawson. She is survived by: her children, Dave Dawson (Heather) of Grimsby and Stephanie Bays (Christopher) of Grimsby; her granddaughters, Emily, Sarah, Ella, Brooklyn and Ava; and her siblings, Theresa Morganty, Mary Hennessey and John Dawson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home - Guelph Line (1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON L7P2S7). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church (4072 New St, Burlington, ON L7L1S9).
