With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aafke Schat (Grimsby, Ontario), who passed away on January 4, 2020 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Aafke Schat to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Schat (Douwe); and her children, Fred Schat (Barb), Richard Schat (Beth), Helen Van Dyk (Bill), Karin Terado (Jun) and Ann Guillen (Al). She is also survived by 21 great-grand children.
It was mom's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hope and Healing International Organization or the charity of your choice.
