He was predeceased by: his parents, George Varrin and Clara Varrin (Clement); and his siblings, Ernest, Edgar, Harvey (late Imelda), Mary Catherine Kelly (late Bernard) and Merle MacDonald (late Douglas).
He is survived by: his sibling Edna MacDonald (late Jack). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
