She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert and Margaret; her sister Lynda (David); her sister-in-law Mary; and her great-nephews, Kaelan and Nash.
She is survived by: her children, John Bates (Deborah) and Kimberly McVeigh (Bob); her grandchildren, Katerina, Alexandra and Victoria; her stepgrandsons, Mathew and Anthony; and her brothers, John (Cathy), Don (Rosemary), Bill (Francine) and Peter (Bev). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
