William Pickard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Pickard of Gravenhurst, Ontario, who passed away on October 5, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pickard and Alice Pickard (Jordan); his parents-in-law, Wilfred (Bill), Madeline Hall (Morrison) and Roy Milne; his nephew Tim Milne; his siblings-in-law, Robert Slater and Elizabeth Slater (Hall); and his niece Betsy Persel.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Hall); his daughters, Wendy Mairs (David), Jill Gaston (Glen) and Nancy Pickard; his grandchildren, Matt Copps (Lana), Ryan Copps, Jeff Welch (Dee), Cory Gaston (Michelle), Gary Welch (Shannon), Kristin Newman (Kyle), Shauna Lamirande (Terry), Erin Mairs (André) and Tyler Maris (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Keenan Welch, Kelly, Kaydence Newman, Samantha, Cassandra Gaston, Owen, Braydon, Kassidy, Carter, Ryker Mairs, Dakota, Landen, Rya, Rhys Lamirande, Amélie, Aidan Vaillancourt, Maria and Maxine Copps; his sister Elizabeth Milne; his niece Cindy Milne-Wren; and his nephews, Mathew Slater (Dana), Barry Slater (Kristen) and Brian Slater (Jennifer).
