William James McKernon Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2024, William James McKernon of Gravenhurst, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, William James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Kalli (Sam), Sam (Athena), Annie (Joe) and Sydney Dear (Jordan); and his siblings, Terry Hills and Donna Sweeney (Patrick).

He is survived by: his wife Carol McKernon; his children, Mark (Christine) and Janice Caron (Douglas); and his sisters, Wilma Hammel (late George) and Vivian Cardinell (late Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
