She was predeceased by: her husband James; her son Philip; her granddaughter Crystal Higgs; her great grandchildren, Cameron and Rammond; and her siblings, Robert, Edna, Ellen, Joan and Don.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Higgs; her grandchildren, Kristina Davies, Francis Higgs, Fay Higgs (David Goth), Andrew Higgs, Louisa Higgs, Daniel Higgs (Saiphin Higgs) and Angel Higgs-Tuijl (Maarten Tuijl); her great grandchildren, Dylan, Saskia, Mya, Kate, Seth, Elliot, Christopher, Grace, Callum and Romeo; her great great grandchildren, Lyra and Astraea; her nieces, Cathy McClinchey and Sandra Loudon; and her friends, Glenna Newton-Lon and Nola Holmes.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the The Oar Restaurant (530 Muskoka Rd N, Gravenhurst, ON P1P1G3). A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mickle Memorial Cemetery.
