She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Kirbyson and Illean Kirbyson; her brother Beverley Kirbyson; her siblings-in-law, Joyce and Doug Thain; and her niece Kathy.
She is survived by: her husband Alex Laurence; her children, Michael (Theresa), Sharon Hickey and Brenda Burtch (Byron); her grandchildren, Katrina (Brendan), Kevin (Jackie), Christopher, Alex, Jessica (Adam), Kenny and Thomas; her great grandchildren, Grayson and Lucas; and her nephews, Grant, Brian (Beth) and Paul.
