He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ettie Genno, Gladys Larmand, Verna Wright, Don, Gord, Ray and Clarence Houston.
He is survived by: his children, Gale Russell (Paul) of Stouffville, Jim of Newmarket and David (Deanna) of Florida; his grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah and Christina; his great grandchild Madeline; and his sister Annie Wilkinson of Orillia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
