With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Adele Fairfield (Gravenhurst, Ontario), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Robert Sanderson and Adelgunda Kopeski. She is survived by: her sister Sandra Bogseth; her children, Wendy Whillans (Bill Keller), Diane Pick (Larry), Jan Bradley and Bobbi Garrow (John); her grandchildren, Lisa (Youssef), Fin (Erynn), Kaely, Jennifer (Greg), Eric (Mimi), Jessica (Mike), Thompson, Turner and Devynn; and her great grandchildren, Owain, Eamon, Greta, Ava, Matthew, John Hugh and William.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Walker's Point Community Library or Andy's House, Port Carling.

“To The Fairfield Family So many great memories when we were young, and they mostly centered around the cottage. It started when you guys moved out of Preston and we moved into your house. I am very sad thinking that your mom is gone, she was a dear sweet lady who kept us all in line, but made sure we enjoyed ourselves as much as possible. Our parents had lots of good times and enjoyed life together. Adele was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who knew her. Bill Stackhouse”
