He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Phyllis Hewson; his wife Joyce Hewson; his brother Blake of Calgary; his son Roy (Pat); his grandchildren, Dawn (Blair), Ryan (Brekyn), Julianne and Courtney; his son Dave (Anna); his former spouse Laurie; his stepchild Lyn (Russ); his stepgranddaughter Rebecca; his stepson John (Carol); his stepgrandchildren, Tyler and Sierra; his stepson Brian (Barb); his stepgranddaughter Hannah; his stepdaughter Kathy (Paul); his stepgrandchildren, Ted, Emily, Laura, Mark (Melanie) and Jo (Harold); his parents, Albert and Annetta; and also, Jamie, Kevin, Blake (Deb), Karen (Blair), Bennett, Cameron, Ross', Dean, Blayke, Sarah, Connor, Sheldon and Amelia.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions announced after funeral plans were made, the service to honour Ross at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst has been postponed until a later date.
If desired, donations in Ross' name may be made to Gravenhurst Horticultural Society, Muskoka Arts and Crafts, Hill House Hospice (Richmond Hill) or the Canadian Cancer Society.
