He is survived by: his wife Christa Ackabee; his son Braeden Kokopenace; his uncle Aaron Kokopenace; his cousins, Vincent and Lyle; his aunt Corrina Kokopenace (Gary); his cousins, Warner (Waawaate), Roger Jr., Dylan and Sheeba; his uncle Tyrone (Rachel); his children, Ruben, Latisha and Malcolm; his uncle Bryan Kokopenace; his siblings, Lorenda, Sheldon and Tony Jr.; his aunt Lizzy Keewatin (Andrew); his children, James, Michael, Sinese, Shannon and Adam; and his cousins, Mitchell Assin, Glen Assin Jr. and Tara Keewatin. He is also survived by many relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
