She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Hillis; her parents, Leonard Ritchie and Susie Ritchie; her brother Bruce; and her sister-in-law Dorelle.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Murray, Tony Murray (Carol), Laura of Rayburn and Ty; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Hillis (late Carl) and Bonnie Gemmill (Bob). She is also survived by her many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palmerston District Hospital Foundation in memory of Laura.
