She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Ford and Kathleen "Kay" Ford (Lawson); her husbands, Robert Gordon Maver and Alvin John Best; and her siblings, Marion (Jack Parsons), Wayne (Ruby Ford) and Ed Brown.
She is survived by: her significant other Charles Pearce; her son Robert "Rob" Scott Maver (Leili Martin) of London; her grandchildren, Mason Forester of Hamilton, Kaili Martin of London, Kylli and Jordan Eccles of Glencoe; her great grandchildren, Lukah and Lumi; and her sister Norma Brown of Exeter.
