She was predeceased by: her parents, John MacMillan and Mary Anne MacMillan (McNeil); and her brothers, James, Roderick and Neil.
She is survived by: her husband James Byrne; her children, Martin Byrne of Ottawa, Anne Byrne (Rob Campbell) of Toronto and Claire Byrne (Wendy Atkins) of Vancouver; her grandchildren, Alex Byrne, Jordan Byrne (Danielle), Lauren Campbell (Andres), Cicely Campbell (Bobby), Lachlan Campbell and Sophie Byrne-Atkins; her great grandchild Talvie Meret; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Douglas of Glasgow and Kathy MacMillan (Kim) of Toms River, NJ..
