He was predeceased by: his daughter Sarah Elizabeth Gill; his parents, Edward William and Mabel Annabell Gill (Turnbull); his brother Brian Gill; and his brothers-in-law, Mel Ramsden, Gene Omilinsky and Charles Dyson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Gill (Dyson); his children, Dan and Lois Gill of Grand Bend; his grandchildren, Brendan, Abigail Gill and Daryl Gill of Clinton; his great grandchildren, Kyle, Kristen Gill and Dave Gill of Dashwood; his siblings, Elaine Ramsden of Toronto, Marian (Jim Reith), Nancy Gill of Lawrence, Kansas and Marilyn Omilinsky (Donna Dyson) of Hamilton; and also, Sarah and Kate Gill. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
If desired memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Huron Shores United Church – Building Fund, the Blue Water Rest Home or the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated by the family.
