He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hugh and Florence Mae Love (Gill); and his siblings-in-law, Ellison Whiting, Bill Sturdevant, Emerson DesJardine, Reg Hodgert and Cathy Love.
He is survived by: his children, Ginger (Bill Weber), Debbie (Wayne Riddell), John (Joan Love) and Patti (Mark Diamond); his grandchildren, Julie, Andrew Hern of Grand Bend, Jacob, Amy Weber of Little Britain, Janna-Lynn, Sean Dupree of Waltham, MA, Jason, Sarah Riddell of Guelph, Jaci, Jeff Bennett of Breslau, Tom Love of Harpley, Charlie Love, Andrew Macinnes of Victoria, Conrad of Oakville, Jasmine Love of Oakville, Ava Diamond of Oakville and Griffin Diamond of Oakville; his great grandchildren, Stella Hern, Archie Hern, Emily Weber, Liam Weber, Alexis Dupree, Quinn Dupree, Wrenley Riddell, Atom Love, Carter Love, Jynx, Higgins, Roxie and Buddy; and his siblings, Ruth Whiting, Helen DesJardine, J. Alex (Margie Love), Jean Hodgert, Jack (Mary Cann) and Ray (Alice Cann).
