He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joanne, Jerome Reiber of Kitchener and Carol Ann Klaehn of Kitchener; his parents, Louis Klaehn and Margaret Klaehn (Rosecat); and his in-laws, Dorothy, Ken Hartung, Carla, Cliff Pitz, Gerald Klaehn, Louis and Sharon Klaehn.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Louise Klaehn (Kechnie); and his children, Chris Klaehn of Grand Bend, Scott Klaehn of Waterloo and David Klaehn (Cindy Klaehn) of Kitchener. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
