He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Harburn and Madeline Harburn; his parents-in-law, David and Shirley McLeod; his brother Murray Harburn (Brenda); and his brothers-in-law, Leonard McLeod (Emily), Jim McLeod (Sharon) and Doug.

He is survived by: his wife Doreen (McLeod); his children, Stephen (Anne Hartman) and Lori (Mike Busch); his grandchildren, Bailey, Brooke Busch, Simon, Laura and Ethan Harburn; his siblings, Geraldine Eckel (John), Bill Harburn (Marlene), Laverne Harburn (Elaine) and Keith Harburn (Nicola Austin-Smith); his siblings-in-law, Sharon Rehkopf (late Albert), Sharon Pullman (Floyd), Dennis McLeod (Judy) and Janice Hamilton (Larry); his aunt Lorraine; and his caregiver Jane Duncan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
