He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Louise Riddell; his sisters, Dorothy Jean and Beth King; and his parents-in-law, Jerry King, Peg, Irv Heimpel, Sally, Bill Steinburg, Frank, Anne Whaling, Helen Whaling and Len Whaling.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Riddell (Ilona), Sandra and Ian Reid; his grandchildren, Maddison, Mitchell, Rose Riddell (Noah), Stuart and Sydney Reid; his brother Jack; his sisters-in-law, Anita Riddell, Leone Riddell and Donna Whaling; and his daughter-in-law Susan Riddell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
