He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin McCauley and Dorothy McCauley (Bone); his brother Gerald (Beth McCauley); and his stepdaughter Lorri Anne Bechard. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Ruth McCauley (Dale); his stepchildren, Ken Dale (late Pamela Dale), Sandra, Dave Knapp, Mike, Ruth Ann Dale, Dan and Paoloa Dale; his sibling Barrington "Buck" McCauley; his sister-in-law Diane Maxwell; his nephew Steven McCauley; his great-nephew Seth McCauley; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Lovell and Bonnie Johnson (Rob Henry).
