He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Stolte; and his brother Paul Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Cook; his mother Evelyn Mutis; his siblings, Charles Stolte (Linda), Peter Stolte (Karen), Ann-Marie Urquhart, John Stolte (Robin), Michael Fitzgerald (Rosanne), Anne-Marie Fitzgerald and Theresa Fitzgerald; his brothers-in-law, Steven Cook (Tanya) and Darren Cook (Sherri); and his parents-in-law, Rose McMaster and Harry Cook (late Dianne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial donations in Chris's memory can be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Ontario Paramedic Association.
