He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Brewster and Florence Brewster (Smith); his brother Fred; his sister-in-law Gena Brewster; and his sister Brenda Todd.
He is survived by: his wife Karen "Kay" Elizabeth Brewster (Patterson); his daughter Cheryl Brewster (Barry Privette) of Grand Bend; and his siblings, Barry Brewster of Strathroy, Gerald (Shirley Brewster), Barbara Lysko (Robert) of Strathroy and Anna Patterson of Brampton. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
