With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny John Frei of Grafton, Ontario, born in Cobourg, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his wife Judith. He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Lindsay) and David (Thelma); his grandchildren, Rohnan, Emrie, Natalia, Ethan and Madeline; and his siblings, Bonnie and Johnny.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home (30 King St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1K7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Danny requested that those willing please consider donating instead to Ducks Unlimited Canada, to support the preservation of wetlands, a cause that Danny fervently supported through his life.
