With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Ross Bates (Grafton, Ontario), who passed away on June 19, 2019 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Bates and Jean Bates; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeffrey, Kevin (Lydia Marciano), Barbara Turcott (James) and Lisa; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason, Carson, Ciara and Payton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research at Sunnybrook Hospital or the Palliative Ward at Northumberland Hills Hospital are appreciated.
