She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Martin and Helen Martin; her brother Bill Martin (Ruth); and her siblings-in-law, Ron Henhoeffer, John Lukevich, George Weber and Phyllis Henhoeffer.
She is survived by: her husband George Henhoeffer; her children, Theresa Deckert (Pat) of Waterloo, Nancy Berkvens (Jeff) of Kitchener, Marie Rutherford (Keith) of Wiarton, Kim Vandevrie (Doug) of Mount Brydges, Cathy Van Gyssel (Matt), Marilyn Grubb (Cory) of Elmwood, Gary Henhoeffer (Navs) of Vietnam and Matthew Henhoeffer (Nicole) of Walkerton; her siblings, Mary Houghton (Ray Walker) of Wingham, Bob Martin (Vicki McDonald) of Kincardine, Jean Vollmer (Harry) of Turnberry Township, Elaine Garrett (John Clark) of Oakville, Joyce Jermyn (Bruce) of Cambridge and Rick Martin (Patty) of Culross Township; and her in-laws, Frances Schlosser (Francis) of Elmira, Marlene Lukevich of Alberta, Linda Henhoeffer of Gorrie, Len Henhoeffer (Merle) of Kitchener, Roy Henhoeffer (Bernice) of Walkerton, Ruth Weber of London, Bruce Henhoeffer (Carol) of Formosa and Wally Henhoeffer (Patti) of Waterloo. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, former neighbours and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tiffin Funeral Home (4 & Clinton St S, Teeswater, ON N0G2S0). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (14 Gordon St W, Teeswater, ON N0G2S0).
Memorial donations to the Teeswater-Culross Firefighters Association or the Teeswater Medical Centre, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be arranged online or through the funeral home.
