With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Strong of Gorrie, Ontario, who passed away on February 18, 2022 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Strong to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert 'Pawsy Strong; her parents, Ken Hastie and Lillian Hastie (Earls); and her brothers, Bob and Tom.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Welsh, Pete Harrison of Harriston, Kent 'Ace' and Lynda of Gorrie; her grandchildren, Kyle, Sara (Tim), Leslie and Kelsey (Whip); her great grandchildren, Julia, Sophia, Luca, Tilly, Grace and Alayna; her sister-in-law Ilene Hastie of Gorrie; her siblings, Edith Cameron of Owen Sound, Marg and Keith Finnigan of Dorchester; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Hastie of Elora, Joanne, Bob Allan of Kitchener, Alex, Gwen Strong of Wingham and Helen Currie of Tweed.
