He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Newans and Eunice Newans; and his great grandchild Karsen Fischer. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Josh, Ashley, Jesse, Wade, Candace, Colin, Johanna, Stephanie, Charlie, Cameron, Jerad, Samantha and Denny; and his great grandchildren, Parkar and Jazlynn.
