He was predeceased by: his son Paul (Laurie); his parents, John and Lenora (Kennedy); and his brothers, Chester (Velda) and Harold (Dolly).
He is survived by: his children, Chris (Joyce McDonald) and Kim (Randy Smith); his grandchildren, Jennifer Klassen (John), Tyler Robinson, Doryell Nodecker (Kevin), Brianna Deschamps (Neil), Alana Harris, Justin Robinson (Sandra), Devon Robinson (Sheena) and Ryan Robinson (Chantel); his great grandchild Jordan Klassen (Erica); his wife Cathy Simmons; his great grandchildren, Jelissa Klassen (Jake), Ayriell Nodecker, Hayley, Lyndsey Robinson, Madeleine, Sebastien Kennedy Inamoto, Drew and Alison Kennedy; his stepchildren, John Kennedy (Renee) and Jennifer Kennedy; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Simmons and Mary McBurney (Clement). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
