He was predeceased by: his mother Annie; his brothers, Godfrey and Tom Porter; and his siblings-in-law, Floyd Harper and Sharon Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Anne Harper-Porter; his daughter Terry Ingram (Blair Smith) of Sudbury; his stepson Shane Ingram (Pam) of Nepean; his grandchildren, Beckett Smith, Alex, Sheyenne and Steven Ingram; his sisters, Marianne Knight (late Ron) and Margaret Porter of Toronto; his siblings-in-law, Eldene Longhurst (Buck) of Gore Bay, Doug Harper Mildmay (Elaine), Mildred Harper, Barrie and Lorna James Silver Water (Gary); and his mother-in-law Audrey Harper Gore Bay (late Howard).
