She was predeceased by: her parents, John Orford and Mary Orford; and her husband Edward Best. She is survived by: her children, Heather Hall (Dave), Brent and Darren (HeatherLee); her great grandchild Parker; her siblings, Jack Orford (Alma Jean), Don Orford (Anna), Lois Newton (Roger), Floyd Orford (Gaynor), Murray Orford (Ruth), Marian Holm (Ian) and Doug Orford (Sylvia); and her sister-in-law Marianne Best.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home (3 McQuarrie Blvd, Gore Bay, ON P0P1H0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
If desired, donations may be made to the Lyons Memorial United Church in Gore Bay or the Manitoulin Health Centre.
