He was predeceased by: his brothers, Fred and Morley; his sisters-in-law, Joanne and Lynn; and his parents, Frank Lanktree and Thelma Lanktree (Lewis).
He is survived by: his wife Sally (Howard); the father of his child Grant (Colleen) of Fort McMurray; his daughter Brenda McDermid (Robert) of Lively; his grandchildren, Becky, Tyler (Vanessa), Tanya (Mike), Tiffany (Pat), Tara (AJ), Bonnie (Frankie), Cameron and Leah; his brother Lew; and his sister-in-law Elaine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
