Evelyn Lane Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2021, at the age of 97, Evelyn Lane (Gore Bay, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Lane to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd; her children, Larry (Sheila), Lola (David Langford), Rhonda (Charlie Smith), Doug (Linda), Marta (late Joseph Wong), Lori (Ron Erwin), Peter and Tammy (Mike Kennedy); her brother Bob (Debbie); her grandchildren, Jeremy Lane (Marcée), Jennifer (Brian Rossmajer), Terry Gudmundson, Sheryl Gudmundson, Rebecca (Bill Leeney), Chuck Smith (Kelly), Brandon Smith, Angela (Darryl Wunsch), Ben Lane (Madge), Cameron Lane (Leonora), Cynthia Dahl (James Sommerville) and Patrick Kennedy; her parents, Clara Lane and Arthur Lane; her siblings, Bessie Lane and Jim Lane (Madeline); her sons-in-law, Ray Gudmundson and Paul Thompson; and also Margaret (late Lawrence).
She is survived by: her sister Maudie (late Barry Powell).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 3 at the Simpson Funeral Home from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. (Due to Covid restrictions, 20 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time. Masks and social distancing must be adhered to.). A Graveside Service will be held at Gordon Cemetery on Thursday Nov. 4, 2021 at 11am. (Masks and social distancing must be adhered to. Please bring chairs for the service).
