He was predeceased by: his wife Vanesa Buchan (Wright); his parents, Peter and Sarah; his brothers, Peter and Walter; and his son-in-law Bob Gioventu.

He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Mackan, Mary-Lea Buchan (Bob Third) and Vanesa Jo Woods (Jim); his grandchildren, Heather Gain (Ryan), Stacey Kelly (Shawn), Beverly Wright (Trevor), Patti Jo Woods (Christopher) and Deborah Woods; his great grandchildren, Rilyn Gain, Keegan Gain, Hunter Kelly, Hailey Kelly, Gabriel Wright and Alexandria Wright; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Buchan and Lee Buchan.
