He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross and Bernice (Johnston); and his siblings, Mary Lou McNeil, Doug and Don.

He is survived by: his wife Myra Henry (McNair); his children, Jana (Kalen Carroll), Michael (Jessica Henry) and Jodie Fischer; his grandchildren, Kesler, Mollie, Ruby, Mason and Jack; and his siblings, Randy Henry, Larry Henry (Carol) and Janette Henry (Bob McNeil). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
