He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Lacroix and Helen Lacroix; and his sisters, Lynn Taylor and Terry McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Maria Lacroix; his children, Erika (Dennis Schilthuis), Matthew Leah (Jordan MacDougall) and Mark (Samantha); his grandchildren, Niah, Samuel, Micah, Hannah, Elizabeth, Callum, Liam, Walter and Anne; and his sister Anne (Christ Daniels). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
