He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Smith; his children, Dena Maidens (Waring) and Catherine Smith; his grandchildren, Vincent Maidens (Gail), Melaine Anderson (Chris) and Marshall Brooks (Jackie); his great grandchildren, Braxton, Brysen and Madison; his nephew John Mombourquette (Anna-Marie Duffy); his children, Josh, Jean, Sophia and Mary; his nephew Paul Mombourquette (Maureen); his son Andrew (Madeleine); and also Rob (Shayne).

In lieu of flowers, donation made to the Lung Association, Huron Residential Hospice or St. Peter's Church would be appreciated by the family.
