Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stewart Thomson of Goderich, Ontario, born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 80, on July 19, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomson and Marion Thomson (Rogers); his wife Freida (Carroll); his brother David; and his siblings-in-law, Hugh Carroll, Michael Carroll, Ed Carroll and Jennifer Carroll.

He is survived by: his children, Stephanie (Ron Govier) and Shawn; his grandsons, Christopher Govier (Adrienne) and Jonathon Govier (Kayla); his pet River (Gail Poirier); his brother Douglas (Susan); and his in-laws, Sandy, Stuart, Paul (Terry), Kristi (Claude), Pat and Cindy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
