He was predeceased by: his sister Ruth McCarthy-Kruuv; his brother-in-law Dan McCarthy; his brother Jim; and his parents, Roy and Eunice.

He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Griffin (Daniel) and Veronica Mabon (Michael); his granddaughters, Callista, Olivia and Rachel; and his sister-in-law Margaret Young (Ken). He is also survived by brother to his nephews and nieces.
