He was predeceased by: his brother Donald; and his parents, Albert and Catherine. He is survived by: his spouse Helen; and his children, Christine Littlechild (Nick), Virginia Cartmale (Brad), Peter Riehl (Elizabeth) and Ronald Riehl. He is also survived by 3 brothers and one sister.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lakeshore United Church and may be arranged through McCALLUM & PALLA FUNERAL HOME , 519-524-7345.
