Raymond Scotchmer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Scotchmer (Goderich, Ontario), who passed away on November 23, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Anna (Porter); his parents, John Scotchmer and Margaret Scotchmer; his siblings, Ronald Scotchmer, Lynnda Collins and Gordon; and his siblings-in-law, Charlene Porter and John Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Elliott); his children, Trevor Scotchmer of Lucknow, Rayanne and Dale Tipert of London; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Scotchmer, Kathleen Siertsema (John), Margaret Wright (Garnet), Marion Cornish (Ron) and Linda Elliott.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Pentecostal Assembly (321 Bayfield Rd, Goderich, ON N7A3G8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Bayfield Cemetery (35110 Mill Rd, Bayfield, ON N0M1G0).
