He was predeceased by: his father Evert Ridder. He is survived by: his spouse Nancy Ridder (VanKooten); his children, Nathaniel, William, Benjamin and Coralee; his mother Margie Ridder; his siblings, Peter Ridder, MaryJane, Leo Greidanus, Marggie Ridder, Everett, Joyce Ridder, Paul and Lorraine Ridder; and his friend Pickles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and one grand niece.
