He was predeceased by: his sisters, Tina Schenk (Ard) of Holland and Marianne Petersen (Willem); his parents, Piet Kreyger and Janna Kreyger (Dekker); his brothers, Jan (John), Willem Petersen (Bill) and Ard Schenk; and his sister-in-law Thea Kreyger (Pauw).

He is survived by: his sisters, Ann (Gerald Nicholls), Elizabeth Gough and Joanne (Wayne Waugh). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
