She was predeceased by: her spouse John Kennedy; her parents, Wilfred Schwass and Effie Schwass; her children, Georgette Schneider and Pat Kennedy; and her siblings, Don Schwass and Marlene Schwass.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Weiss, Stephen Whipp of Orillia, Magdalena Kennedy of Goderich, Paula Kennedy, Shawn Gregory of Walkerton and Jeff Kieffer of Walkerton; her grandchildren, Allan Schneider, Cindy Schneider, Luke Henrys, Crystal Weiss, Kaitlin Weiss, Dan Zylstra, Ben Diebel, Karissa Kennedy, Jocelyn Meyer, Bryce Reid, Devin Meyer, Amanda Mechenton and Ryan Gibbons; her stepgrandchild Shelby Kieffer; her great grandchildren, Emma Weiss and Morgan Zylstra; her sister Marian; and her sister-in-law Ruth Schwass of Port Elgin.
Memorial donations to South Bruce Grey Health Centre or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
