He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith (Jack) and Marion Smith; and his siblings, Elaine Kilgour, Helen Castrenis, Lloyd Smith and Gordon Smith.
He is survived by: his spouse Pattie Smith; his children, Jamie Smith and Natalie Good (Paul); his grandchildren, Frances of Goderich, Lorelai Smith of Goderich and Josi Scruton of Goderich; his siblings, Bill Smith, Bob Smith, Barb Kilgour (Gary), Doug Smith (Marion) and Mary Byers (Paul); and his sisters-in-law, Debbie Patterson and Kathie Gillis (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
