She was predeceased by: her husband William Brown (Slim); her parents, Reginald Venn and Olive Venn; her sister Jean Hanna; her parents-in-law, Clifford and Rita Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Carole Lawrie and Ron Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Dave (Linda Kubiak) of Goderich and Kathryn of Goderich; her brother Roy Venn (Wendy) of Tillsonburg; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Hanna of Guelph, Shirley Brown of Goderich, Rob Lawrie of Bayfield, Nancy Brown (Arnold Mitton) of Goderich, Sharon Brown (Paul Bartliff) of Goderich and Phillip Brown (Margot) of Toronto. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
