He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Gardiner and Hugh Gardiner (Bud); his siblings, Jim, Ken Gardiner and Anne Clements; and his grandson Samuel Leddy.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Lillian Bly; his children, Sue Leddy (Jim) and Steve Gardiner (Lori) of Goderich; his grandchildren, Nick (Victoria), Nathan (Brian), Liam, Colin Leddy (Angie), Alex, Austin (Jaden), Courtney and Carston Gardiner; his great grandchildren, Avary, Jackson and Dane Leddy; his brother Gary Gardiner; and his siblings-in-law, Stephanie (Ed), Irene (Josh), John, Emile (Sue), Leon (Janet) and Peter.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Goderich Legion, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
