Lois Wise-King Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2024, at the age of 90, Lois Wise-King of Goderich, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Edward Wise; her daughter Christine Stilwell (Wise); her parents, Robert Rowden (Bert) and Ottilie Rowden (Lockhart); her sister Muriel Manning (Rowden); her brother-in-law John Manning of Blyth; her brother Robert Rowden; and her brother-in-law Ray Wise.
She is survived by: her husband Bevan King; her children, Sandra Kelly (Dennis) of Stratford, Barbara Cowan (Christopher) of Auburn, Brenda Clark (Kit) of Matheson, Stewart Wise (Patti Dalton) of London and Charles Wise (Gina) of Clinton; her son-in-law Michael Stilwell of Vanastra; her stepdaughters, Janet King of Gananoque and Cheryl Kaunismaa (Victor) of Thedford; her grandchildren, Cindy (Dan Kaal), Theresa Koch (Josh), Tim Cowan (Julie), Jeff Cowan (Emma), Julie Gillingham (Luke), Dan Cleave (Chrysta), Kerry Maciejko (Jason), Cantelon Wise (Arlene), Katrina Wise (Eric), Jason Tideswell, Curtis Tideswell (Stephenie), Emma Stilwell, Alex Wise (Katie), Adrienne Wise (Paul) and Meredith Martene (Kalen); her stepgrandsons, David and Andrew Kaunismaa; and her sister-in-law Estelle Wise. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Falconer Funeral Homes - Clinton Chapel (153 High St, Clinton, ON N0M1L0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to Huron Hospice, Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
